Last year’s ride was an incredible success raising over $20,000.00 to support anti-bullying programs in the community. Approximately 100 riders joined us for an amazing day and a mountain of fun. Help us to make this year even bigger and better. We have set a goal of $20,000.00 and 150 riders.

Our ride is a unique opportunity inspired by Noah – for kids by kids. Noah loved to be outside riding his bike or scooter. We spent countless hours watching him circle the track at Duke of Connaught Public School in Leslieville. So, when we were considering fundraising activities, a bike-a-thon for children was a natural fit. We have secured a closed course and group riders by age category to pedal or scooter around the track as many times as they can in the allotted time. When not on the course, there is plenty to see and do including bike decorating, temporary tattoos, live music, face painting and so much more!

The money raised by Miles for Smiles bike-a-thon will go to support anti-bullying initiatives in the community. This is something that Noah cared about. He was a “tiny teacher” with Roots of Empathy in his first year of life. As a pre-schooler he was a good friend to many of his classmates. The ripple effect that Noah’s life has inspired will continue through the work of the Foundation.

Noah would be celebrating his 8th birthday this September and Miles for Smiles bike-a-thon is a perfect party for marking this milestone.
